Basic Supplies for both 7^th and 8^th Grade

• 1 – Pair WIRED headphones (wireless earbuds or AirPods are not permitted)*
• 1 – 12 pack of Pencils
• 1 – Pencil Sharpener
• 1 – Pack of blue OR black pens
• 1 – Pencil Pouch
• 1 – 1 ½” binder (shared between the content areas to keep track of notes)
• 1 – pack of dividers to keep notes organized by class
• 1 -- spiral notebook for math work
• 1 – pack of dry erase markers^
• 1 – small dry erase board^

* Due to the significant number of lost wireless earbuds, the way that they can be used to connect to Bluetooth technology, and most importantly to ensure safety in case of an emergency, wireless earbuds are not permitted at Irving Middle School.

^ Not required, but may be helpful

Please note that some elective classes do have a student fee for consumable goods. More information will be shared in each elective class regarding fees for supplies.

• Algebra Honors Students
  • Please note: Purchasing a graphing calculator is optional for students in Algebra Honors for at home use. Students will have access to a graphing calculator online and will be instructed on how to use the online graphing calculator through Desmo.com.  If you decide to purchase a graphing calculator we suggest the Texas Instruments TI-84+.
